If you’ve ever been to a Durham Bulls game, or have lived in Carrboro, Apex, or Raleigh, you’re probably familiar with Tyler’s Taproom, a small local chain of restaurants that is now closed but previously had a presence in all of the Triangle’s coolest locations. Tyler Huntington is that Tyler. After more than 30 years in the restaurant industry and with the experience of founding and owning six successful restaurants, he has turned his attention to helping other business owners find the perfect location to achieve their dreams.
Tyler has a wealth of experience in identifying ideal locations, buying and renovating historic buildings, negotiating leases, and working with conventional lenders, the Small Business Administration, crowd funding, and private lenders. One of his strengths in site selection is being able to envision the potential and best use of a property others might not see. Once the time comes, he also knows how to help sell restaurants and other types of commercial buildings to get the greatest return possible on your investment.
When he’s taking a break from real estate, Tyler spends his spare time with his wife and children, attending Ultimate Frisbee games, woodworking, fly fishing, and cooking.
