Collins Awarded Designation at Pinning Ceremony in Chicago

Pickett Sprouse Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce that Broker Emilee Collins recently earned the CCIM Designation. CCIM stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member, and the designation is considered to be the gold standard for commercial real estate professionals. Collins passed her cumulative exam last week and was officially awarded the designation at a pinning ceremony in Chicago.

CCIMs complete a rigorous program of advanced coursework and training in financial and market analysis and demonstrate extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. The designation represents proven expertise that can help clients minimize risk, maximize return on their investment, and make better informed decisions.

“During the last two years of fulfilling my CCIM education requirements, I have been able to apply important analytical concepts to my commercial real estate practice,” said Collins. “Earning the CCIM designation is a commitment to my clients so they can make the best decisions based on sound financial, investment, market and user analyses.”

Every candidate for the CCIM designation is required to complete an education component and pass a comprehensive exam. The education component is made up of a four-course curriculum, an online ethics course, negotiation training, and elective courses.

“Earning this designation is no small accomplishment, and we are proud to count Emilee as one of our own,” said Bert Woodall, Pickett Sprouse Co-Owner and Commercial Real Estate Broker. “Pickett Sprouse is only as good as our brokers and that’s why we’re among the best in the Triangle with providing business owners, property owners, and investors with the highest level of knowledge and expertise to meet all of their real estate needs.”

More information about the CCIM designation is provided by the CCIM Institute.
