Joe Van Gogh’s SouthCourt Bakery & Café is now open. The Triangle-based coffee roaster’s sixth location is leasing 3722 square feet of space in the SouthCourt by Crescent Communities building at 3211 Shannon Road, Suite 106 in Durham. Pickett Sprouse Commercial Real Estate Broker Tyler Huntington represented Joe Van Gogh in the lease.

The company’s bakery opened last year in the SouthCourt building to expand the food and pastry options at its cafés. The kitchen is 2,609 square feet, and the café is attached to the bakery in 1,113 square feet of space. The entrance is at the back of the building.

“The central location of this space is ideal for the bakery to supply all current and future Joe Van Gogh Cafe locations,” said Huntington. “In addition, the beautiful cafe offers a calm and relaxing space to enjoy a pastry and coffee, meet a friend, or work on your laptop. Its location between Durham and Chapel Hill makes it an ideal spot for a business meeting.”

The café’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7am-2pm.

The term for the lease is seven years. Broker Matt Larson with CBRE represented property owner CC Southcourt, LLC, which is part of Crescent Communities.
