Popular local wings joint Heavenly Buffaloes will open next week in Raleigh. The restaurant is leasing 1,951 square feet of space in the former Hungry Howies location at Haverty Square at 6701 Glenwood Avenue. It is expected to open on Tuesday, September 3. This is the restaurant’s fourth location in the Triangle. Pickett Sprouse Commercial Real Estate Broker Tyler Huntington represented Heavenly Buffaloes’ owners Dain Phelan and Mark Dundas in the lease.
In addition to the newest restaurant, Heavenly Buffaloes has three other locations with one in Chapel Hill and two in Durham.
“Mark and I have been excited to explore Raleigh for quite some time,” said Phelan. “Our upcoming location at Haverty Square checks all the boxes for what Heavenly Buffaloes is looking for. We are excited to get the doors open and start doing what we do best!”
Heavenly Buffaloes is renowned for its local, farm-raised, steroid- and antibiotic-free chicken wings, locally produced vegan soy nuggets, waffle fries, and a variety of sauces developed in-house.
“This space provided the size and infrastructure ideal for Heavenly Buffaloes,” said Huntington. “That, in addition to the large number of residents nearby, the heavy traffic on Glenwood Avenue, and a great tenant mix in Haverty Square, made this an ideal location for Heavenly Buffaloes.”
The term for the lease is five years with renewal options. Broker Phil Begany with Lat Purser & Associates represented property owner Bright Family Properties in the transaction.
