Movement Mortgage’s Durham office is now operating from a larger, new location. The nationwide mortgage lender is leasing 2,065 square feet of office space in the former Herald Sun building at 2828 Pickett Road in Durham. Pickett Sprouse Commercial Real Estate Broker Brad Gregory represented Movement Mortgage in the lease.
The new space includes seven individual offices with a large conference room and a shared break room.
“Our Durham office is thriving,” said Don Fowler, Sr. Loan Officer, Movement Mortgage. “We needed more room and a welcoming environment so that our physical space matches the local growth of our company. In addition, our employees come in from North Durham, Hillsborough, and the Triad, so the location is perfect in suiting everyone’s needs.”
Movement Mortgage pioneered a unique approach to home loans centered around helping homebuyers, quickly and easily. The company does this by processing over 75% of its loans in seven days or less. It also has an entire team dedicated to rescue loans, which are loans turned down or mismanaged at other lenders, so that customers can often go from application to closing in as little as 10 days.
“Another reason that Movement is so successful at making the homebuying process seamless and efficient for its clients is through the relationships that it has with local industry partners,” said Brad Gregory. “The company’s new location in proximity to those partners is key. The space also allows it the flexibility to host larger meetings and events with clients and other industry stakeholders.”
The building where the Movement Mortgage office is located is owned by Ticon Properties.
